A 31-year-old was arrested on Sunday in connection with the theft of a motorcycle in Paphos.

On Sunday at noon, a 27-year-old reported that his motorcycle had been stole. The bike was at the time parked outside the block of flats he lives in.

At around 6pm, the 27-year-old saw his motorcycle and, in an effort to retrieve it, was assaulted by two unknown people, who beat him, threw him to the ground and fled the scene on the stolen motorcycle.
