A fault in the electricity producing system, which caused outages in various areas of Cyprus on Friday afternoon, was fully restored at 7.13pm.

The Transmission System Operator (TSO) said the fault appeared at 6.57pm and shut down part of the Vasiliko power plant, operating with a 116MW load.
