The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) has issued an invitation for local businesses to participate in an upcoming workshop dedicated to fostering a sustainable and competitive enterprise.
The event, titled the Green Business Innovation Challenge, is being organised as part of the European SUSTAINET project under the Erasmus+ initiative.
This specific project seeks to bolster the green transition and promote sustainable entrepreneurship across the region.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be brought together with experts, mentors, and key stakeholders from the sustainability ecosystem to develop innovative green solutions.
The workshop will focus on presenting modern trends in sustainable business while exploring how Corporate Social Responsibility can be utilised as a tool for market differentiation.
The session is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, between 09:00 and 15:30 at the Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol.
Instruction will be conducted in Greek and the event will follow a face-to-face format to encourage direct engagement.
While attendance is free of charge, registration is mandatory and must be confirmed by March 25, 2026, according to the organisers.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions and co-creation workshops to develop practical solutions for real-world business challenges.
The gathering is designed to provide professional guidance from specialised experts and facilitate networking opportunities with other businesses and institutional bodies.
Attendees will be able to understand how sustainability enhances business competitiveness and gain practical knowledge regarding modern green business practices.
The programme also aims to highlight available funding opportunities that can support companies during their transition to greener operations.
Ideas will be developed through collaboration and expert mentoring, allowing professionals to connect with various actors within the ecosystem.
The SUSTAINET project itself is designed to support the green transition of both municipalities and SMEs through the development of Green Business Innovation Centres.
These hubs are being established and piloted across Cyprus, Greece, and Bulgaria to provide structural support for sustainable entrepreneurship.
Further information regarding the SUSTAINET project and its objectives can be found on the official project website, Keve noted in its announcement.
