A 26-year-old man was arrested late on Thursday in connection with the discovery of 228 fireworks in Limassol.

Police in collaboration with the customs department conducted a search in a container with products that arrived in Cyprus. Inside, they found two boxes containing the 228 fireworks.

Officers arrested the suspect late on Thursday to help with investigations into the case.
