On Monday, the weather will be mainly clear, following dissipation of local low cloud cover or fog, except in the west where there will be transient increased low clouds. Later, clouds will form with a chance of showers in the mountains and some areas of the interior.
Winds will be south-westerly to north-westerly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort soon becoming moderate and to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. In the afternoon, in the south and east, there will be strong winds, 5 Beaufort from the same direction. The sea will be slightly rough in the morning, except in the east where it will be calm becoming a slightly rough in the afternoon on the eastern coasts and up to rough on the remaining coasts.
Temperatures will reach 38 C inland, 34 C on the northern coasts, 33 C on the southern and eastern coasts and 30 C on the western coasts and higher mountains.
On Monday night, the weather will be mostly clear but in the west and north there will be periodic increased low cloud cover. Winds will be south-westerly to north-westerly and later north-easterly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, turning to light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will initially be a slightly rough on the eastern coasts, up to rough on the remaining coasts to gradually becoming calm to a slightly rough on the eastern coasts and on the remaining coasts.
Temperatures will drop to 22 C in the interior, 23 C on the coast and 19 C in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear, but in the afternoon there will be temporarily increased cloud cover, with a chance of isolated showers on Thursday, in the mountains and in the interior. At night and early in the morning there will be locally increased low cloud cover and thin fog.
Temperatures fall slightly on Tuesday and remain steady until Thursday, fluctuating around the average values for the season.
