The health ministry on Thursday issued an official decree tweaking some of the curfew and SafePass rules, effective from 5pm on June 4.

Firstly, wedding guests can be out until 3am provided they can show proof they were at such an event.

For everyone else, the curfew remains at 1am until June 10, when it is set to be scrapped.

The second change refers to the use of a SafePass to visit a betting shop.

While betting shops were previously among the businesses customers could visit without a SafePass, the new decree specifies this no longer applies, and that a SafePass will now be required.

Lastly, despite the fact playgrounds and amusement parks were originally not allowed to organise children’s parties until June 16, the date has been moved.

From June 4 they will be allowed to put on children’s parties and other events, provided everyone over 12 has a SafePass and that spaces are thoroughly cleaned with a three-hour window left between events.
